Life is like a vapor. We are here today and gone tomorrow. Today, we mourn the passing of a family friend and member of our church. He has gone to be with the Lord on this day and meet up with his son who left just last year in this same month. This man was a very good Christian. He always gave his testimony for God. He was in the back row of the choir behind me and I enjoyed hearing him sing. He always greeted you with a smile and a handshake and more than often a hug. You see, you love your fellow brothers and sisters, and his wife and him were close to my heart.
Pete McKinney was 73 years old. He had a loving wife and sons, and will be sorely missed.
